I can do all things in Christ

Afternoon everyone, well its a cold Wednesday here in South Wales with a mixture of sunshine, rain and hail. No sign of any baby chooks yet I bet they are staying inside the egg where it's warm and cosy..lol. Todays card  was made using a rosette which I hand cut and scored, the leaves were a set of flourish dies by Tonic. The hearts were a set of Tattered Lace dies and the sentiment taken from Phillipeans chapter 4, verse 13 and says it all really,  I just wanted to share it with you. God Bless.

A little Bird told me

Happy Wednesday everyone, this mornings card is a joint effort with my other half , Chris, who loves doing watercolour paintings and I have asked him to do me a series of  little birds that I can add to my cards and make some notelets so this is the first of 6. Hope you like it.

Our latest additions

Happy Tuesday

These are the two new additions to our flock and I'm thrilled with them, my husband is so clever and sculpted these for me from some left over chicken fencing (very apt) a fab way of recycling the left overs. So these two beauties have joined our flock and are very well behaved. Here are a few of the rest of the clan...

We are also awaiting the hatch day of 7 eggs that one of the broody hens is sitting on and anticipate there arrival at the end of the month. Pictures to follow, watch this space... ;-)

Have a blessed day...

One for Nan

Morning everyone, todays card was a commission for a neighbours nan who loves spring colours and flowers. The border was a tattered lace die called Tattered Lace Broderie Florentine 3 in 1 Die which is very pretty and versatile too as you can snip into it. The flowers were hand made and I used a leaf die but sadly I cant say what make as I've lost the packaging. Pearl drops were used in the centre of the flower for added bling. The sentiments were also tattered lace sentiment dies. This card needed a box envelope due to the 3D flowers.  Have a great day

Potting Shed

Evening everyone, tonight's card was made using papers from Craftwork Cards and I chose this as I love hedgehogs. In fact I am a carer for a charity called hedgehoghelplinecymru.org.uk and I got involved because I'd heard that hedgehogs are in dire straits. They have been on the decline here in the UK and their numbers had decreased from 40 million to under a million. So as a volunteer I take in sick and injured hedgehogs and offer treatment for their ailments, infestations and injuries. Once they are fully recovered they are then released back into the wild in the hope they will increase in number. If you feel able to make a donation in aid of the charity there is a link on the web site and we would be really grateful as it pays for the drugs and equipment used in caring for these lovely little critters.

Bees Knees

Evening Friends, I love hydrangeas and the backing paper used on this card inspired me to add dimension by stamping smaller flowers and overlaying the design on the paper. I hope you think it works. Each flower centre was highlighted with pearl drops from my stash. the honey comb border, honey jar,  bees and sentiment  were all  done using a stamp collection by Stylish Silhouettes. Hope you like it.

Enjoy the little Things

Morning all, I couldn't resist this collection as I love bees and took up beekeeping late in 2014. All was going really well as I overwintered the colony and in early summer had to split my hive and set up a second one as they had run out of room and were producing queen cells in readiness to swarm. The split went well but unfortunately a couple of weeks later whilst we were on holiday a swarm of wasps cannibalised my hives and I lost both colonies. I decided to store the hives and start again this year so all being well get my queen and starter colony at the end of may. I'll keep you posted in a few weeks how things are progressing

Cherished Charisma fairy

Evening crafters, here is another card using the Tattered Lace Charisma Fairy but in another colour way. To differ it slightly I have also added some trailing Ivy , cut using another tattered Lace Die from the Charisma Ivy and its so effective at adding another dimension to a card. "Beautiful" was stamped and die cut using

Especially for you Beautiful

Afternoon all, isn't it great to see some sunshine outside for a change. I'm wondering if the frosts are over as I've been busy sewing seeds for the veg plot and got caught out last year as I planted them and we had a frost which killed all the seedling so had to start again. I hope you like my latest card, the fairy is so pretty and I used two to give dimension to the card. The recipe is as follows:

Tattered Lace Charisma Periwinkle Fairy Die and Cd Rom
Beautiful Die and stamps from Stamps by me
Especially for you stamp from Stamps by me
Butterfly Stamp from Craftwork Cards
Bow and paper doily from my stash
Centura Pearl card stock.

Blessings.........

Happy Chocolate day

This is the second card I've made using Polka doodles "Winnie Sugar Sprinkles" collection and the images and papers are so pretty and easy to use. You can mix and match the toppers, papers, sentiments and embellishment's to produce cards for all occasions. I hope I've done them justice....

One for Fellow chocoholics

Hello lovely ladies and gents, I hope you have a love of chocolate and all things sweet as the latest cards I have been making theme on such sweet goodies and are very calorific so watch you figures lol

Vintage Rose

Morning crafters, I just love this paper from "Craftwork Cards", the roses are divine and I hope you like the card I made with it. I didn't want to cover the lovely images on the paper so made this card very simply by adding a large butterfly which I'd shaded around the edge. The corner details were made using one of "Tattered Lace" beautifully ornate corner dies and look very pretty on the card. The bow was hand cut and finished off with a large heart shaped pearl.
Have a great day

Bespoke Anniversary

#
Morning crafters, I hope you are enjoying your day. This card was made for my son and daughters first wedding anniversary and I used "Serif "to produce the papers and sentiments which I layered onto scalloped card stock. The photos were taken from their wedding album and were reduced in size and cut out using some shaped dies. The flower were decoupaged with 3d foam and pearls were added to the centres for extra bling.
